 This is not correct. DS only affects darkness. 

 I feel like this idea is right, but backwards. With Jeremy Crawfor ruling on Devils sight only working to make darkness appear "normal"and wrking only in darkness, the idea would be a creature with 60ft of dark vision would see its gray scale vision out to that 60ft ans then the darkness past that would be 120ft of normal colour, which would be EXTREMELY trippy, but also apply to thingslike the dim light or torch.

Can confirm. My warlock with Devil's Sight is listed with 180 ft. Darkvision.

This is still an issue. Friends character shows 180ft dark vision. wood elf 60ft DV and Devil sight 120ft. 

Still an issue. My deep gnome shadow sorcerer is showing 240 ft dark vision - 120 ft as deep gnome, and 120 for Eyes of the Dark. Assuming, that is, that this IS a bug.

This is apparently an Issue with all sources of Darkvision. A Half-Orc attuned to a belt of Dwarven kind shows 120 ft of Darkvision. 60 from the race and 60 from the belt.
