So I found a magic item that really fits into the theme and style and situation of where my players are right now and I really want to give it to them. The only problem? It was WAAAYYY too high level for their level. So I decided to adapt it slighting, taking away a bit of the higher level stuff and adding some smaller bonus to compensate. For the most part everything is fine except for the description, which I've edited HEAVILY, keeps coming up as the original. It includes a number of features I do not want them to have, and I don't want to make things confusing by just saying ignore these parts. I don't know if I'm missing something? When I check the creation in my homebrew collection, it has the edited description, but in my players character sheet its the original one. I've tried refreshing everything a number of times and nothing... Not sure what I might be doing wrong!
Sometimes homebrew updates can take up to 15 minutes or so to update on a character sheet after the fact. If you were to check the character sheet now, I'd imagine that by this point it should match what's in your collection.

You are correct! Thought I might be missing something :) Thank you!
