Does anyone else have this issue that when you create a new version of one of your Homebrew Races or the like, the features marked as feature type replacement don’t get copied, so you have to recreate them every time you want to update something?
"I am talking about this feature"
This is what happens when i creat new version of a race, which i previously already gave the TCoE "Origin/Replacement features"
This is what it should look like (looks like after i recreated the features.) The ones marked as replacement don't get carried over for some reason.
Here is where you assign the feature type btw. Also does anyone know what the "Is Called Out?" checkmark does??? The descriptions in the Homebrew tool are always so unhelpful worded. If they worked like a link that shows you a small video clip of what it does, it would be better than the strange wordings.
So basically, anything that isn't a marked as feature type granted, will always have to be recreated when making a new version of a race since it only seems to copy over the basic stuff that already existed before the TCoE and other newer features. Why doesn't it just make an exact copy that can be edited and instead only copies specific parts??? Can that be fixed, I tend to need to update/balance change some of my older stuff quite frequently since new books come out so fast.
Since there is no way to fully pull already published content out of the state and back to private Homebrew its difficult. Especially since you can't fully delete your own Homebrew once you made them public once. You can remove them from your Homebrew Collection, but they will always stick to your Homebrew Creations list.
