I am trying to create a subclass based on Arcane Trickster instead of from scratch. When I select Rogue for the class, the only option to modify is Thief - no other subclass.
I am not a subscriber - I was invited by my DM who is, and I am able to select Arcane Trickster as a subclass for my character if I'm just using the regular rules (and not home-brew). However, I can't select that as a sub class to be modified. (I kinda assumed if I could select it when creating my character, I would have access to modify it for a home-brew).
Is this a bug? From what I have read this should be a possibility. Or is it something to do with the subscription? (Could my DM do it in that case?)
The Arcane Trickster is being shared with you which lets you use it for characters in the campaign where sharing is enabled.
However, to copy something you need to own it.
Consider buying it from marketplace with a one-time purchase of $1.99.

OK - that's one of the things I suspected. At least now I know buying it will allow me to copy/modify it.
Thanks for the reply - and quick!
