there's no player map for the Town of Vallaki. it's unfortunate because i've been able to give my players player maps for everything else they've encountered thus far. is this something that's already been brought up and being addressed?
Most of the maps in the books don't have player versions. This seems to be an added value when you buy it on DND Beyond. You usually have to buy the player versions from the artist directly.
Ah, OK. I do remember seeing the odd post about DDB trying to get players versions of various maps and that it wasn't always easy. Hopefully that one is just an oversight that can be easily remedied!
Staff will check on this one, but it is possible that the player version of Vallaki's map doesn't exist. The DM version doesn't give away anything to the players.

Are you sure about most of the maps?
On LMoP, HotDQ, RoT and PotA all the maps have the player version;
OotA missing two, both don't matter that much not having it;
SKT missing four, three don't matter at all not having it, the one that matters is too small;
CoS (checked by my wife, I am a player on this one) is missing the one mentioned and:
8 from the castle that are vertical slices of the castle.
TotYP I have to agree that is a critical one missing many important maps;
ToA (not checked, I will be a player on this one).
I believe he was saying that in the printed books, you don't get player's versions without buying them separately from the artists. The benefit of getting them here on Beyond instead is that most of them are available.

Got it, my mistake. Is indeed handy to get players map here.

While I mostly agree with you I play with people that will say thing like "we go to number 12, because that's obviously something. " And that's not fun. one of the main reasons i buy them a second time is because of the player maps and integration into the compendium. if there's missing maps, as there are in many of the adventures, it'd be nice if they're noted so i can consider that as part of my purchase.
thanks for taking time to respond, and i do understand if there's some missing. just annoying to find them out of the blue as i'm prepping for a session.
Hello,
I've meant to post this for a while, but when you look at https://www.dndbeyond.com/compendium/adventures/cos/the-town-of-vallaki#ApproachingtheTown

thanks a bunch,

I'll bump this. I'll be introducing my players to Vallaki in a few weeks, and would like to have the player map available.
Maybe a dumb question, but in the print book, is there a players version of that map? DDB can only use what they've been given by WotC.

And I cast Heroism on the community.
