The moderators have permissions to do a fair few things, but we can't go into someone's profile and view their characters - needs to be a link to the specific character.
Aha, found it and the character sheet looks correct. :)
The 7th level ability "Remarkable Athlete" grants the following:
you can add half your proficiency bonus (round up) to any Strength, Dexterity, or Constitution check you make that doesn’t already use your proficiency bonus.
Rolling for initiative is a dexterity check and the character has +4 proficiency bonus, so gains +2 to their initiative (half of the +4).
If dexterity is negative with the alert feat, the initiative is wrong.
-1 dex + 5 alert = 6 initiative on the description page.

D&D Beyond FoundersI just created a character with 8 dex (-1 penalty) and the alert feat and the character sheet correctly shows the character as having +4 initiative.
Can you link your character here please, so a moderator can take a look?
