I purchased some new dice skins with the latest update but the D&D Beyond app for iOS won’t show the 3D models for the dice at all now. Is this a bug? Is there a way to fix it?
You will need to download the dice to your app. You can access the menu by pressing and holding the dice menu button in the bottom left.
Thank you! Now the problem is the app is not displaying the sprites properly in the iOS app.
Edit: after further testing the normal black dice and the Beyond Dice still don’t show up (3D models) when equipped and downloaded, fuzzy dice do not show at all either, mythic/sanguine/heroism all have the shown particle issues
Were you running the 15.4 beta? There’s a new feature in WebKit (the web browser that underlies Safari and a lot of apps) called “WebGL via Metal” that seems to break the dice features in both the app and the mobile website.
You can toggle this feature off in Settings->Safari->Advanced->Experimental, but unfortunately that only fixes Safari - not webkit in other apps.

I was on iOS 15.4 beta and then the GM, now it has released officially today. Disabling that experimental feature works on the webpage but as you noted, not the app itself. Thank you.
The D&D Beyond team identified an issue with the dice animation not working on iOS 15.4 both in the mobile app and the on the website in the Safari brower, and will release an update as soon as they have a fix!

That’s sick af. Thanks for the update! Looking forward to using my custom dice again.

The dice leave trails and the particle effects stack and obscure the dice roll.

iOS 15.4 launched today and the dice are still broken.

Dice are broken for me on iOS 15.4 as well. I was not running the beta at any point, and I did a full app reinstall.
