Im using the sentinel sheild and its giving me a +5 passive perception is this a bug? If not where can i find this ruling
Hi there,
this is correct, the Sentinel Shield grants advantage on perception checks.
Having advantage to perception checks grants a +5 bonus to passive perception.

If the character has advantage on the check, add 5. For disadvantage, subtract 5.
