I am about to play DnD for the first time with a group over Discord! The DM told me to download Discord (I did and I'm all set up), and I see a lot of people using Avrae with Discord https://routerlogin.uno/ https://19216801****/. So, my question is, do I as a player need to download Avrae as well, or does the DM the only one who needs Avrae?

The person in charge of the Discord channel will need to invite the Avrae bot to the channel. We use Avrae with DnD Beyond but it has not been working well for us for a couple of months. I actually came here to forums to see if other people are having the same problem.

It's weird that a different account posted the same question, with the exact same title and wording, in the GD forum.
