You cannot leave (or join) campaigns via the app. You will need to go to the campaign on the website and select the 'Leave' button at the bottom of your characters card
Yeah, the dedicated app is lacking in several areas such as this. I also can't see a way to see my other campaign party members' character sheets from within the app, but can with the website version. I don't know how much of that is due to just being overlooked, or if it's a lack of manpower working on the app. I don't imagine that will get any better right now after the layoffs at Hasbro / WoTC, et al
