i am still experiencing this issue. my L5 Oath of the Ancients Paladin has three "always prepared" spells on its list -- Ensnaring Strike is missing. :(
Ensnaring Strike is in the PHB, the other 3 that you'd have by that level are all in the Basic Rules, which means they're available for free. You would need to own on this site or have access to through content sharing the PHB in order for the spell to show up.
If you don't have it through either of those means, you can buy just the single spell through DDB for $2. You'd go to the marketplace, find the listing for the PHB, and find the spells listings. You can also homebrew it if you have access to a print version of the PHB, using a similar spell as a base to work from.
You need to either buy that spell on DNDBeyond - buy the PHB on DNDBeyond - or have the book shared with you via campaign sharing with someone who has a Master Subscription in order to be able to get that spell.
Oath of the Ancients is paid content. It's from the Player's Handbook. So if you have the oath but not the spell - then I assume you're getting access to it via content sharing - but the person sharing it with you hasn't bought the whole book - just bits and pieces?
yeah i definitely do not think that to be the case. the sharer has books and books -- it's not a piecemeal operation. i suspect there is a bug in the works.
There are two fixes for incongruent sharing. Firstly ask the person sharing with you to turn content sharing off and on again. I know how that sounds - but it repopulates the sharing table which usually helps. The other option is to tell them to go to their marketplace and make sure their entitlements are synced (if they aren't - resync and turn sharing off and on).
Also worth pointing out that you only get access to the content for your character if that character is in the campaign with content sharing. Characters not in the campaign won't receive shared content.
FYI, Paladin Oath of the Ancients spells aren't linked.

This is fixed. Thanks.
It seems the Oath of the Ancients spell Ensnaring Strike is not linked to the known/prepared spells

Speak with Animals - Misty Step - and Moonbeam are all from the Basic Rules - and are free. Ensnaring Strike is from the Player's Handbook - and is not free.

whoa, thanks for the quick responses. so Oath of the Ancients is not "paid content", but some of its spells are? that seems weird.
