In the DMG it's listed that coins do weigh 1lb per 50 coins. However, the inventory does not seem to calculate that into the carrying capacity of characters... Like for example, my character has 5 Str, and is carrying 44lbs. As I add 300gp it should go up to 50lbs (and thus go to medium load), but it stays the same as 44lbs. Is this intended or could it be a bug?
Ofc, it's not that much of a problem as we have a bag of holding now in the party, but it does seem odd (it feels a bit like Skyrim, where you can run around with literally 1'000'000 gold coins and not feel them). Of course, we can add the common magic item "coin" and make it have a weight of 0.02lbs and add 300 of it, but u know, it seems a bit weird.
Yeah, it would be handy. For now, though, creating a custom potion with weight 0.02 and no effects works fine (although you have edit it separately from the currency)

Wait for the character sheet revamp coming soon.
I think that was one of the things that should be implemented.
I'm not stupid. I'm just unlucky when I'm thinking.
