When factoring your encumberance unless the chest is magical you add both it's weight and the weight of its contents, because it is assumed you are carrying it around.
If the chest is magical or is not carried by you then detail the chest and its contents in the Personal Items box and remove it from your inventory. You inventory should only be detailing things you carry, you have a text box for personal possessions that are not being carried on you or whose weight should not be factored. This is not a bug but also is something that will be addressed for easier use in the character sheet revamp being done and due to release within the next few months.

I was looking into my equipment, since my movement dropped to 5ft and sound Chest there: A chest can hold 12 cubic feet/ 300 pounds of gear.
So it can hold 300 pounds but itself weights 25 lbs taking my encumbrance limit? Should it work that way?
