 Subscribers can upload maps already. From what they said, the Free-Tier will only allow use of purchased D&D Beyond Maps.

This is most likely a limitation of D&D Beyond paying for 10GB storage for each user.

 This says to me that Free-Tier won't be able to upload maps:

The core experience will be made available to everyone: If you own a map, module, or adventure on D&D Beyond, you can use it on Maps and invite your friends to play. Period.

Our Master Tier subscription will unlock more customizability for DMs who need it. You’ll be able to upload homebrew maps, custom tokens, and access exciting tools built just for you.

Otherwise "upload homebrew maps" wouldn't be called out as a benefit of the Master Tier Subscription.

 Correct.  You can upload images or animated images for use as battle maps.  The Maps VTT does not (currently) contain a map editor, or even a grid placement tool. (Just a grid alignment tool).

 Correct, Maps is a VTT not a map design app/image editor.

Я пишу, чтобы сообщить о проблеме синхронизации с последним еженедельным приключением, в котором фигурирует «Дерево Смертельной Головы».

Хотя текст приключения, жетоны монстров (включая Мертвое дерево) и все блоки характеристик полностью разблокированы и присутствуют в моей библиотеке, фактическая карта сражения для этой локации полностью отсутствует в официальном списке сцен в инструменте «Карты».

Я уже пробовал перезапустить инструмент «Карты», очистить кэш браузера и проверить библиотеку карт, но сцена по-прежнему отсутствует. Не могли бы вы, пожалуйста, разобраться с этим и обновить библиотеку инструмента «Карты», добавив недостающую карту?

Do we know if they're going to implement the option to change token images like how AboveVTT has it? Otherwise, I can't see myself ever using Maps.

 They've discussed manual size changes, but I don't think I've seen anything about the token image.  

What's the scenario that makes this a dealbreaker?
