I noticed when making a warlock with a genie patron that it said that I should get the wish spell as part of my expanded spell list. when I tried to select a 9th level spell for my lvl 17 mystic Arcanum choice, wish doesn't appear as an option. is this a bug?
This has been an issue for…I want to say three years or more. The staff are aware of it, and if I recall correctly it was publicly stated to be on the roadmap for implementation back in 2020 or so.
Unfortunately, this is just one of many issues from around that time that were stated to be on track for improvement, have not been fixed, and as far as I know have not been acknowledged by the devs in years.
Thank you for the information! being able to cast that spell at high level was a big part of why I wanted to be a genie warlock... that and all the other awesome stuff they can do that is :D

The “standard” workaround is to equip a Ring of Three Wishes.
ETA: tooltip fail
EDIT 2: second time’s a charm; tooltip fixed
