This type of situation is what D&D Beyond's content sharing system is for. If your DM has a master-tier subscription, they can share all the content they own with players who join a campaign they're running.
Yeah, fortunately, my DM does. I'm just now realizing that.
I was already upset that my organization tool for online TTRP had micro transactions but this is fu*kin' just beyond what I thought was greedy. Everywhere you look now a days its just a cash grab. Greedy MFs. Id rather support Darrington Press at this point because at least its run by players. This is just shareholder bullsh*t. Shame on you WOtC and hasbro.

Wait, I'm confused. You were mad that DDB had "micro transactions" (they weren't, but that's neither here nor there), but now you're even more mad they removed the option? The math ain't mathing on that, unless I'm misunderstanding something

They were called MTX by a known 5e critic, so that's what some people call(ed) A La Carte, because you paid small amounts of money for small things. Piecemeal is synonymous with MTX due to the ex-members of The Escapist CONSTANTLY conflating the 2 in video game-related pieces.

Yeah, this is Beyond greedy. FY Hasbro and Co. I am a returning player, but I won't stay for long due to this bs.
