Heyo, I've been trying to purchase the 2024 digital core rulebook bundle on the Marketplace for the past day and a half now but whenever i try to use PayPal, which is what i primarily use to purchase books on here, i get the error message "PayPal payment options are invalid. Please, select another payment method". I've been able to purchase digital books using PayPal and i even pay for my Master Tier subscription through PayPal with no issues whatsoever, but for whatever reason I can't purchase the 2024 bundle with PayPal. I've got no idea if this is an issue with the Marketplace, PayPal themselves, or a mix of both, but I'm hoping this gets resolved soon.
Also as a quick note, I am a Canadian customer, I saw on a similar thread that other Canadians were having a similar, if not the exact same issue that I'm having now. No idea of that means anything but I hope that helps a bit.
Yup it's exactly the same issue. I've been having it since the release of the mcdm books (though its 100% tied to the new marketplace) and its still not fixed. It's apparently a localization/coding issue but one that they really don't seem to be too invested in fixing in any sort of timely manner.
I guess if they don't want my money, that's fine by me.
This problem was identified and investigated in another thread. It all comes down to whoever coded the DnDBeyond Marketplace site (or up dated it I guess) forgot to include a field to enter your Province. When you order gets passed to PayPal without the province field information, it automatically gets rejected. This was figured out a couple of months ago and DnDBeyond has done nothing to fix it.
There are already a bunch of people who will tell you not to give any money to WotC. It's bizarre that they are also stopping you from doing it.
This is the post where the problem and solution are identified. It is post #65 on a thread titled "Paying through PayPal."

For those in Canada I reported this to their discord a few days ago and it was passed along to their team - the actual error is that the state (province) field is required by Paypal for Canada. Since that field is not active when selecting Canada as a country it fails to process.
I was able to set my province manually as the data was being sent to paypal and the popup worked with the payment processing properly.
So hopefully, fingers crossed, they'll be able to resolve it by just enabling the province selection the next time they apply updates to the marketplace.
This has been an issue since May with multiple threads calling it out. I find this to be ridiculous considering users have already identified the solution, and implementing the fix should realistically take less than an hour (not taking into account whatever sort of hoops developers have to jump through to implement a bugfix on the website).
I'd recommend everyone having this issue submit a support ticket about the issue and reference the post mentioned above. If enough people submit tickets for the same issue, they might eventually start responding to them or even consider fixing the issue.
I ran in to this problem today. The workaround is to enter an American address into your saved addresses then use this address. Because it’s a digital download there’s no need for a shipping address so it doesn’t really matter what address you put in as long as it’s a real address. I picked the Space Needle in Seattle :)

Can confirm this works, bought some digital dice to test it out and sure enough, it worked.

I tried saving an address, and now I can't even reach the payment screen. I click the button, it greys out, then turns red again. In the console, I see "TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'totals')". WotC just doesn't want my money I guess.

Same problem here. Also Canadian. They probably have a different version of the rule that uses THAC-Eh? Instead of THAC0.
but I'm sure I've used PayPal as a payment method before.

Are you on a Mac? I'm on a Mac, and it only works in Chrome for me - not Safari.
I'm on PC, also using chrome.
