I was creating a simple Magic Necklace that has two uses of the Silvery Barbs Spell, yet when I search Spells that are available to add to the Necklace (Wonderous Item), the Silvery Barbs spell is not available in the list.
I see that Silvery Barbs spell is from Strixhaven: A Curriculum of Chaos.
In the list of Spells when creating the Magic Item at the top of the list it states "Core D&D". Is that why the spell is not available to add to the item, because it was not in the Core Books?
Breathe, dragons; sing of the First World, forged out of chaos and painted with beauty. Sing of Bahamut, the Platinum, molding the shape of the mountains and rivers; Sing too of Chromatic Tiamat, painting all over the infinite canvas. Partnered, they woke in the darkness; partnered, they labored in acts of creation.
To add a spell to homebrew stuff you need to have it. This means it is either part of the free basic rules/SRD or you have purchased it (or the book it was in).
Silvery Barbs is from Strixhaven: A Curriculum of Chaos, which is non-core D&D as it is a Magic: The Gathering setting.
You need to buy Strixhaven to add it.
