So I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong, but when I make a character I only get one subclass option for each class (I.e. for sorcerer it only shows Draconic Bloodline and for Bard it only shows Lore, etc). I own the source books and then some, so idk what to do. Thank you.
At the top it will either say you're in sync or give a black re-sync button. If there's a button click it.
It is a good practice to do this after any purchase.

That doesn't work for me, it says I'm in sync but i only have a single subclass option.
I was making a character and there was only champion as the option
Then you're confused on something. Like maybe you purchased 2014 book but are making a 2024 character?

Oh thanks thats annoying but i guess it makes sense.
But it also says i cant use home brew subclasses though I have made a subclass for fighter.
There are two different versions of the Fighter class — the 2014 version and the 2024 version. A homebrew subclass will be linked to one or the other, not both, and you have to select the same version of the class when making your character or it won't show up as a choice.

I'm having that problem too. No matter WHAT I do,I get only 1 subclass option for each character
I am having the same issue. Everything is synched, no re-sync button. Using 2024 Rogue, but it happens to my boyfriend for his warlock as well. Different accounts. Never had the problem with 2014 version, even now I can pick from multiple if its the 2014 version.

Do you own any of the books that include other subclasses for the 2024 version?
No, I'm thinking that's the issue. I didn't think I had purchased the 2014 PH, but apparently I have. So now I have to buy a new book :( I don't see an option to just buy a subclass like I used to do.
Edit: Purchased 2024 PH, synched entitlements, options are now available.

The option to buy individual subclasses and other character options was removed last year, to pretty much everyone’s disappointment.
The number of "have your purchased xyz book" isn't helping.
I own 2014/2024 ruleset. I have both 2014/2024 enabled and I can't access any subclasses for bard/sorcerer (from what I've checked) as well as cannot access more than half of my library of wizard subclasses...NOR can I access the 2024 version of artificer I just purchased for character creation purposes.
Far as I can tell, this isn't an issue on my end but an ISSUE with DNDBEYOND revoking access and/or removing coding.
The number of "have your purchased xyz book" isn't helping.
We ask because the number of times it does help is extremely large and is very often one of the top 3 causes of issues. People don't read properly or have expectations and don't check things - like expecting a subscription to unlock content or just expecting everything unlocked for free because they bought the physical copy but not the digital. There's actual examples here in this very thread. Then there's confusion with buying 2014 or 2024 version and not realising which one they have. Again, there's an example of that in this thread. So, yes, every new "missing content" post is going to be met with "did you actually buy the digital version on here" response. It's the best place to start.

If that doesn't work can you provide more specifics? Which class are you trying, is it the 2014 or 2024 version, which subclass are you trying and can confirm which toggles you do have enabled/disabled? It is best to provide specific examples so we can check things and make more appropriate suggestions.
Far as I can tell, this isn't an issue on my end but an ISSUE with DNDBEYOND revoking access and/or removing coding.
D&D Beyond will not "revoke access" without specifying a reason, such as account termination due to breaking ToS. Failure to do so and just revoking your paid for access without due cause is illegal and I'm fairly certain D&D Beyond aren't going to risk their jobs and being sued to revoke your, specifically your, access for the lulz of it.
And it is very obvious they didn't "remove coding" because that would effect everyone, not just you, and I'm pretty sure with millions of customers all losing access due to removed code - there'd be an uproar. There isn't. And I still have access to everything I bought - as do most people. So, no, they haven't removed code.
There's a myriad of possibilities that don't involve these scenarios. For instance: misremembering what you bought, incorrect toggles, not synching entitlements, temporary cache issue, logging into incorrect account, transaction failure, license not assigning properly (CS can fix that), not understanding systems/designs/etc (like using wrong version of class), and so on. None of these are "revoking access" or "deleting code".
I've been here over 8 years frequently helping people saying the same things as you and about 90% of the time it was a user issue. But, of course, sometimes it's a D&D Beyond issue. So, rather than either of casting blame - when neither of us actually know for 100% guaranteed certainty - let's just stick with taking it one step at a time and see if we can figure out how to help you.
Usual culprits are:
Check purchases Check license entitlements are in sync Check content toggles Check using correct options
Let's check through these first and see how we go?

No it cant be that because I haven't bought any of the online books because I have the real life copies. Any ideas?

ModeratorWhat subclass are you trying to use?
Have you purchased the book that contains that subclass? Or is this character assigned to a campaign where that book is shared with you?
Do you have the correct categories enabled in your character settings, like Expanded Rules?
On the class tab, do you need to select the 2014 class instead of the 2024 one, or vice versa?
Are your entitlements in sync?
