I don't know why sublasses that got their archetype at 3rd level in the 2014 PHB can't simply be carried over to a 2024 class. I understand that other subclasses that got their archetype at 1st or 2nd level don't "fit" the 2024 chassis and need to be rebuilt, but the others? I'm not a programmer/coder, but it seems there should be a way to make the 3rd-level archetypes work "as is".
Yes, it does. It also doesn't seem like it should be impossible to add code that converts the levels of features awarded by any other subclass appropriately (if level x in 2014, then level y in 2024). If not as something that just works in the character builder, at least built into the homebrewer as a method of using the 2014 version as a template for a new 2024 copy.
For those of us (like me) who think toggling rage through the Features and Traits tab is more work than calculating a small bonus manually, PLEASE make rage specific abilities such as Primal Knowledge visible constantly (either as an option or by default) rather than just when rage is toggled on.
Also, for World Tree Barbarians the level 6 feature Branches of the Tree doesn't show up under Reactions even while raging. It can only be found in Features and Traits, which makes it very easy to forget that it exists. For now I have a custom reaction, but it would be great to get it fixed.
CLERIC : Seer Undead: Whenever you use Turn Undead, you can roll a number of d8s equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of 1d8) and add the rolls together.
On the digital character sheet, even though my character's Wisdom score is 14 (+2), only 1d8 is shown in the Attack (action) table (should be 2d8).
I wish there was a way to make homebrew Classes instead of just homebrew Sub-Classes. That way I could make an Artificer that uses 2024 spells myself. As the only class in Expanded Rules its in a strange spot. Sad it wasn't put in 2024 PHB (hopefully in the DMG!), but it should be able to use 2024 spells. It can on table top!
I have a level 7 wizard (2024), order of scribes, who had the original (2014) version of conjure minor elementals (4th level) in his spellbook. It has changed to the 2024 version of conjure minor elementals, and the legacy version is not available to add. Other legacy spells, such as the 4th level summons spells are available to add, and the legacy version is available on my 2014 wizard.
I just made a 2014 wizard, and the legacy version of Conjure Minor Elementals is available to add to the spellbook. So, when using a 2024 wizard, legacy versions of other spells are selectable, but Conjure Minor Elementals is disappearing from the available options.

The legacy version of any spell that has an updated version isn't supposed to show up for your 2024 Wizard. That's the bug, not the legacy version disappearing.
The weapon illustrations don't show the names of the weapons, like they do in the physical book. (Which defeats the purpose, somewhat, of the illustrations, if you're unable to tell a maul, mace, warhammer apart, for example)
Filtering spells in the Game Rules > Spells search by Source: Player's Handbook (2024) only has 3 pages of spells. Filtering by Source Category: Core Rules shows the correct 20 pages of spells, but right now they should be the same.
I believe this is because there are two different sources in the Core Rules category currently: the Free Rules (2024), and the PHB (2024). Filtering spells by just the PHB would only show 3 pages, the other spells are contained in the Free Rules. correct me if i'm wrong ^_^

While you're technically correct, the behavior is inconsistent with past behavior. Spells (and other searchable things in similar formats, such as Magic Items) can have multiple listed sources in the code and be called by all of the sources individually. For instance, every spell in the Basic Rules (2014) also appears in the Player's Handbook (2014) with the minor exception of spells that, in the Basic Rules, are slightly renamed (such as Arcane Hand and Bigby's Hand) for SRD/Copyright purposes.
Will the issue with Subclass feature level availablity not appearing in the main class compendium make it into next weeks release plan? I didn't see it listed in teh Sept 17th "known issue" thread, but I see reports since Sept 11th.
I am experiencing a few bugs while building a character right now. I have both the legacy, and homebrew content toggles active.
I am building a 2024 Celestial warlock. I cannot choose ANY legacy spells, or homebrew spells. They do not appear in the character builder, nor do they appear in the "Manage spells" sidebar.
The second issue I am experiencing is that all of the ability score improvements from feats, nor are the ability score improvements from my origin (I.E +2, +1 or +1, +1, +1) are not adding to my totals.

As far as the Warlock goes, no legacy spells should be accessible to a 2024 class. This is correct behavior. Homebrew spells need the person who has the homebrew on their account to open it and tag the new Warlock class within it, as the 2024 and 2014 classes are different classes in the system.
For the second issue, if you don't have a background that grants bonuses to stats, you should be able to select them in the Abilities section. If neither is working, you need to tell the following to help narrow this down or you're SOL: -Background -Class -Race -Whether or not the stat selection appears in either of the screens mentioned above
The Produce Flame spell currently lacks any option to end the effect early — the old version's option to end it as an action is gone, and neither does it end when you attack with it. So when you cast it you basically have the flame stuck to your hand for 10 minutes and can't do anything about it. That doesn't seem intentional.
(yes it ends early if you cast it again, but in that case you just end up with a new flame stuck to your hand)
Hi! So this isn't a bug. In fact, it's actually been buffed!
All spells that have a Duration can now be ended at Any time as long as you are not Incapacitated.
You can find this under "Duration" in Chapter 7: Spells
- "Time Span. A duration that provides a time span specifies how long the spell lasts in rounds, minutes, hours, or the like. For example, a Duration entry might say “1 minute,” meaning the spell ends after 1 minute has passed. While a time-span spell that you cast is ongoing, you can dismiss it (no action required) if you don’t have the Incapacitated condition."
Legacy/2014 monk is incorrectly using new 2024 table for damage instead of the 2014 table. My level 3 monk has 1d6 damage for unarmed strikes but these should be 1d4

Making a custom background locks me out of choosing ability score increases.
When you take a Custom Background, the ability score increases show up under the Abilities tab.

2024 Eldritch Knight is giving too many spells (consistently +1 spell allowed).
I have not yet updated my Arcane Trickster, but I'd bet cash money it will have the same issue.
Please fix this, thanks.
Arcane Trickster has the right amount at 4 at level 4 on my sheet, so doesn't seem to be an issue with that unless it only develops at higher levels.
Set a random Eldritch Knight to level 15 and saw 11 when it should be 10, though, so can confirm for EK.
