Just got two Payment Failed/ Canceled Order emails on my 2024 DMG despite already getting an in-transit shipping notification/email and a cleared charge from my bank. Also a second pending transaction from Wizards for the same amount?
Did they attempt to charge me twice creating a duplicate? It says the payment failed on the DMG but the money is already for sure in Wizards hands according to my bank. If this is their slapdash method of cancelling an accidental duplicate on their end then I'm not impressed and they need an actual email explaining that rather than using some generic template.
The cancellation isn't even present on my order page or account and the tracking number still has my order in transit so *shrug* idk?
I guess we'll see if my book gets here and the duplicate pending charge goes away before I raise a stink in support. Srsly wtf Wizards.
Days ago I got a charge that went through for the DMG. Today I got tracking info for it saying it will be here by the 7th but just now got 2 emails saying my order was cancelled because payment didn't go through, lol. I don't know why they cant figure out how to fix this problem.by now. It's been months with multiple products at this point.
Same for me. I think it's just a glitch. When I filter my orders, everything is as it should be. And my DMG already shipped, it's en route and scheduled for delivery tomorrow. I have a FedEx tracking number.

the stupidest thing is that I'm seeing it in transit as we speak. It's possible Wizards actually cancel the order after they shipped me the product. Free DMG? Don't mind if I do!
This whole thing has been an ongoing clownshow. they'd even printed a shipping label. If I had been asked to arrange payment I would have. Wizards is continually disappointing everyone who wants to support the product. They don't even want to repair any of the damage they've done to their reputation.
It's like watching a company set fire to itself out of apathy.
So, looking into this a little more. PayPal shows the payment being made before they shipped the book, and as I said; The book is already in FedEx's possession and moving through their system. So apparently this is just automated email spam, probably left over from the original problem.
Since the payment was made, and the book already shipped, I'm not going to sweat it.

Same thing here. Two cancellation emails this morning despite having a tracking number for the shipment. It’d be nice if they… y’know… addressed it. It’s clearly a widespread issue that could be solved with a quick, “Oops, ignore that.”
Same, and I didn't pay by PayPal. Already got the 'it's on its way' confirmation and everything, then wake up to two emails informing me it's been canceled and my payment failed.

Great catch on the email. Like others here, payment declined, but apparently Fedex is transporting it to the house tomorrow. We'll see I guess. Wish I could be surprised at this point, but...

Bought the bundle months ago, and got the PHB without issue. Last night got the email at 2:30am that order cannot be processed and my card was charged twice, but the FedEx package is still on the way.
Same issue here - Physical DMG and is enroute and due Friday, and digital access still seems to be fine. I got the “payment issue” email followed by a “DMG order cancellation” email and I can see duplicate charges on my Amex yesterday for $41.38 (???)
I’m assuming the DMG will arrive as it’s already in transit, but what about the MM??
Edit: Finally worked out how to get the order details up. Shows as still active with DMG shipped and MM “order placed”. I could swallow that this was a test gone wrong, but why tf have they double-charged my credit card??
I also got hit with the same issue this morning and my card has TWO pending charges for the same order. I have submitted a ticket but this is a horrid look for WOTC.
At this point, this must just be really embarrassing for WoTC. Looks like they tried to keep these emails from going out, as a fix for what happened with the PHB, and didn't know that 'test' account's emails would still go out.
