So far I've received back an email stating that "if I got an email stating" that the DMG was cancelled, it is wrong and I need to check the order online. Mind you, I wrote to them and TOLD THEM I was looking right at my order online and that it was cancelled. So I told them this again. I received another email stating, step by step, how to check my order online.
IDIOTS!
I finally took a screen shot and replied again with the screenshot SHOWING THEM that the DMG was cancelled like the PHB had been.
That was all in a 24 hour period.
I haven't heard back since and it has been two days.

Old-timer who played 2nd edition up until the release of 5th edition, hating the beta tests he'd seen of 5th. Now back because his daughter is getting into RPG's and he wants to be part of it. That's the key: God first, family second, self last. That's the way for a Longhaul Christian life.
I will never preorder a physical copy through D&D Beyond again. You messed with people’s finances and now you will lose customers. Get your act together!
FINALLY got the coupon code for the DMG from them. No apology. They claim that the card bounced. No email about it and there was plenty of cash in the account for the purchase. AKA BULL CRAP! If they cancel the Monster Manual, I am pledging to never buy from TSR ever again. And, no, there is no shop in my town to get such things. I'll just be out of luck. Oh well. Don't care. I don't need this stress in my life over a game.

Dude, if you’re buying your DnD books from TSR then you might want to check what edition you’re trying to buy 😂

Unfortunately, I got cancellation emails from both email addresses AND my full digital/physical book order (PHB+DMG+MM) don't show up in my "Order History". This is so frustrating. They cancelled my physical and digital PHB orders and gave me some voucher to get it reordered and squared away. Now they have given me the digital DMG and claimed to cancel the physical DMG. Still no word from their support people. Meanwhile my order history only shows the digital PHB (no physical PHB, no digital or physical DMG, no digital or physical MM).
Double check that you aren't just looking at the past 3 months. I thought that, too, but turns out the default is for 3 months and you have to click on that button above to change it to 6 months.

So my Players Handbook was cancelled. I opened a ticket and took care of that in Sept. Now my Dungeon Master Guide has not arrived. Received no emails that it was cancelled. I opened a ticket on dnd-support.wizards.com again. No response or reply for 6 days. This was supposed to be a pre-order. It looks like I am going to get my books weeks after they release.
This was supposed to be a pre-order. It looks like I am going to get my books weeks after they release.
I feel the same way - the fact that we take the time to pre-order, you'd think they might be kind enough to deliver those a few days before initial release. Or ship them to pre-orders a few days before release. Instead, I was seeing DMG at my local gaming shop for almost two weeks before mine finally arrived. A bit frustrating, but I did get the physical & digital, so at least I got that access to digital pretty early on. (Probably their intention to encourage going digital too) ;)
It is a miracle. The DMG just arrived, not that long after I (re)ordered it. Now to see if they try to use the same damn excuse with the Monster Manual. Getting really tired of it, especially the part where they say I should have been sent an email. It is VERY obvious they have SERIOUS issues in their sales and shipping department that needs fixed BEFORE they continue putting out new printed material.

When these idi0ts were finally starting to get remotely close to solving their preorder mess, they removed the digital products from my account.
Made my preorder for the full 2024 books digital and physical bundle. I used a temp card as it was the first time buying from them. They only made a partial charge, and proceeded to cancel the physical PHB and DMG a day before their release.
It took them more than 3 months to answer my ticket and offer only coupons for the DMG when they hadnt even solved my issues with the PHB... After my angry reply to their crappy solution, they gave me coupons to get the same price with the PHB, I ordered them and received them.
But guess what...
The dimwits cancelled my digital products and are no longer available in my account... Now they are not replying. Trashiest customer service experience I've ever had. I also experienced the issues with their marvel secret lair stuff... Anything related to WotC is complete garbage customer service wise, I decided I wont give them money any longer. Id rather download for free and pirate their stuff, and this is something I will recommend to everybody I talk about the subject. These scammers still have my money from my digital books and removed them from my account. Their app is trash now, as I can't deactivate the 2024 rules... Cant we get together and sue or do something about it? This will be 6 months soon and this low lives are holding my money hostage, POS company.
Really wish they had charged the card WHEN I ORDERED THE BOOKS. Tired of this. Monster Manual Pre-Order has an issue charging because the card has expired.
Maybe don't offer pre-orders so far in advance if you aren't going to secure the funds.
Never buying the physical books through dndbeyond again.
Never buying the physical books through dndbeyond again.
I'm not doing that again, either. My 2024 PHB arrived damaged right around when this thread started. They absolutely refused to address it, or even acknowledge it. After being ghosted for two weeks, I reversed the PHB charge via my bank. Beyond finally refunded the rest of the pre-order 3 months later. But I'm still stuck with a damaged PHB.
Will wonders never cease. For the final book, they FINALLY actually ship the damn thing without a hitch. I'm in shock.

Yay the new Monster Manual showed up. Boo, minor damage to the book due to being packed badly.
I'm with the rest of the team here - no more physical orders from DnD Beyond ever again. And I'm advising everyone else not to order from this source either. Better to buy from your local game shop. No discount is worth how bad this experience has been,
Well, I'm the OP of the thread, so...what a journey it's been, lol.
I received my MM yesterday without issue. So, one out of three, I guess...
But, yes. This whole experience has taught me one thing; Physical copies from a game store or Amazon only going forward. If I have to have digital for some reason, I'll deal with that when it comes. I won't be ordering books from D&D Beyond again.

I would recommend not buying from TSR again as it is, but I think you meant Wizards of the Coast, the Co who currently owns the D&D franchise/license

Yes, okay, I'm old. Ha ha. Get over yourselves.
