When you hit with your Unarmed Strike and deal damage, you can deal Bludgeoning damage equal to 1d6 plus your Strength modifier instead of the normal damage of an Unarmed Strike. If you aren't holding any weapons or a Shield when you make the attack roll, the d6 becomes a d8.
At the start of each of your turns, you can deal 1d4 Bludgeoning damage to one creature Grappled by you.
I also noticed this when I was changing a previously made character from the 2014 rules into a 2024 version of itself. Haven't found a fix yet other than adding a custom action or a custom item which you could then equip. Don't know why they changed it for the 2024 characters since it still works as intended as gives you 2 seperate actions for each damage die on the 2014 versions of characters.

"Acts of goodness are not always wise, and acts of evil are not always foolish, but regardless, we shall always strive to be good."
I have a legacy character sheet that shows separate actions for the unarmed fighting style:
I've tried updating this character to the 2024 rules and Unarmed Fighting only has one action:
The Unarmed Fighting Fighting Style feat states:
Am I holding something wrong? I don't have any weapons equipped, although I do have Bracers of Defense and an Eldritchh Claw tattoo.
Currently, it still doesn't work. D&D Beyond still displays it improperly and wizards has said nothing addressing the issue so far.
"Acts of goodness are not always wise, and acts of evil are not always foolish, but regardless, we shall always strive to be good."
I've passed this along to the devs for review.

Definitely related to the feat itself from the way it looks on testing. The feat's got different coding than the 2014 fighting style.
Still not working as of July 9th, 2025.
"Acts of goodness are not always wise, and acts of evil are not always foolish, but regardless, we shall always strive to be good."
Has this been reviewed? Still not functioning properly as of 26 July 2025
The issue was supposedly passed off to the devs in December last year. No idea what would cause this small of an issue to take this long to be fixed.
