A player of mine was making a Rogue/Ranger and he is unable to pick the Assassin and Gloom Stalker Subclass, they are just not there, i checked myself and was positive the two options are not shown in the drop down window
A player of mine was making a Rogue/Ranger and he is unable to pick the Assassin and Gloom Stalker Subclass, they are just not there, i checked myself and was positive the two options are not shown in the drop down window
Right now, the most common cause of missing subclasses is that you have chosen the 2024 version of the class but you do not own the 2024 Player's Handbook.
If you choose the 2024 version of a class without owning the 2024 PHB, that character will only have access to the subclasses from the 2024 Free Rules.
If you want to use the 2024 versions of these subclasses, you need to either purchase the 2024 PHB or use the character in a campaign run by someone who has the 2024 PHB and has content sharing turned on.
If you want to use the old (2014) versions of these subclasses, you need to create the character using the 2014 versions of the classes, which can be found in the "Legacy" section at the bottom of the class selection screen. Make sure "Legacy Rules" is turned ON on the Home tab.
