I want to change to yearly sub and I will need to cancel my master sub. once I do that and resubscribe will I loose my characters (WAY more then 6) and my Campaign that I have shared? I would hate to have to recreate all that stuff.
You should also wait until the current sub period elapses. Cancel and use until the time runs out, then sub to the yearly. Changing sub-types doesn't add on to time paid, it overwrites.

No, you won't lose anything.
Some of the characters might be locked when you cancel one subscription but they will be re-activated as soon as you take a new subscription.
Please head over to the D&D Beyond support site. The support team will be able to assist you with this matter.
You won't lose any characters or campaigns. :)
