I had hoped, after the fiasco of the player's handbook orders getting canceled, that WOTC would have solved the problem. I appreciate that I got a code to reorder, but I had, had hope.
How do I confirm that my Monster Manual preorder is still valid? It does not show up in my order history.
Same problem. Plenty of money in the Apple account that placed the order, and the first bit charged with no problem for the 2024PHB. I submitted a ticket with no response yet, but probably to be expected because this probably happened to thousands of people who preordered the big bundle. Like the cancel drama that happened in September with the PHB
Doing the math on the discount code and the “extra $5 off” means that if you were preordering the digital physical bundle then you are getting roughly the same price on only the DMG that you initially purchased the bundle for. Assuming that the Monster manual isn’t also cancelled, or they send out another discount code when the time comes. But there is nowhere in your account to verify any of this…is my bundle cancelled? Was it ever ordered? The email receipt is the only proof.
There really needs to be more information about what is cancelled and what isn’t. It took me a couple days to discover that it says “you already own this” in small text on the digital products. So presumably the digital products were sold to you in the bundle for the first $67.47 charged on the day of purchase, then the physical products are roughly $37.51 each that are charged once they ship. I was charged 41.01 on September 10th (probably +tax). But this is all backwards math because they don’t communicate any of this…
Normally I wouldn’t even post this, but “public feedback” is the only kind that counts these days. I was really excited about getting the bundle, and was trying to stay positive even though my whole gaming group basically called me out for being a tool because I preordered it from dnd beyond. This doesn’t feel good…
Pretty sure this is the same thing they did with the PHB release. I had a charge of $41.01 refunded and now a pending charge of $40.13. So likely its a price correction, seeing as how I still have my digital access to the DMG.
I didn't have to do anything to sort it out with the PHB. It was all taken care of in the backend, I had access to the digital book and got my physical copy in the mail as expected.
OK, cool. Thanks for letting me know! My digital DMG access is all good, so hopefully they sort out the physical copy issue similar to your experience with the PHB.
I had the same thing this morning. Saw the notification of the charge pop up, then got the cancellation due to payment failure emails while the charge of $40.27 is still pending on my card.
Aw, dargh. I got an email saying my DMG was shipped, and I was hoping this meant the issues that cropped up during the PHB were fixed (I was one affected by it). According to y'all, looks like they're not. I may have been spared (holding my breath on that one), but the community still suffers. Praying we get swift resolutions this time!

Just received an email today telling me my DMG got canceled despite having no problems with my PHB and digital copies and my bank telling me everything was fine
I guess i just have to wait on support to reply to my ticket.
Ordered dig/phys bundle in June. Other than not getting the 15 sets of dice they promised (they owe me two, so maybe they are linked to DMG and MM release dates), I have had no problems.
I am happy to have the physical PHB and dig PHB & DMG.

I am a master tier subscriber and will continue to be, because my game relies on it. But if this is not resolved satisfactorily, I will return to Amazon for my physical books. This is the first time I have had an issue. Phys/Dig Shadow Queen went flawlessly and I have not had problems with Dig only pre-orders.

Same experience here. No issues with the PHB though.
I just ordered the DMG from Amazon after Beyond said my order was cancelled.
They never took any blame for this issue, but they did give me a code to reorder it.
This needs to get this issue fixed NOW! This is a serious deal breaker. Especially since this is the SECOND time with the same issue.
Ended up getting a coupon code to reorder. If you haven't done so open a support ticket.

my dmg physical copy was also cancelled, despite the fact that when i looked at my payment after seeing the email, it was still pending;
hopefully support will sort it out but this is the second time this has happened to me off of this same bundle
wouldn't surprise me if my monster manual's going to be annoying to get too at this point
