hi, i searched around for this problem but didn't find anything close to this issue, so i apologize if this is a repeat post.
i purchased an individual magical item from the marketplace--specifically, the Rod of the Pact Keeper from the DMG--but i don't seem to have the ability to add it to my character's equipment. when i search for rods in the "add item" interface, i'm given several options, but the Pact Keeper doesn't appear despite it showing up in the marketplace as previously purchased.
when i bought individual classes/races, those became available to me in my character editor, so i assumed the same would happen for a magical item. is that not the case? (note: i considered just using the info in the item's details to create a homebrew magical item with a different name, but i am 99.99% sure that's against the rules, no?)
am i missing an obvious button? or this functionality missing?
Stormknight commented on it asking him to link his character, and I'm not sure if someone simply just added the item to the characters equipment list or what, but that's twice now in a couple of days. There must be something going on.
I would suggest linking your character sheet real fast, as to skip needing to link it when someone shows up who can help further!
/e Have you also attempted refreshing the page? Have you attempted searching up the item in the official magic items list? I'm not saying you didn't actually buy it, but if it shows up there and its shows its stats that can confirm you do own it. Clarification: It will show up in the official magic items list even if you don't own it, but it won't show you the items stats unless you own the rights to see it.
/e2 Homebrewing official stuff isn't illegal, and I've seen Stormknight on several occasions tell people if they don't want to pay for something they can homebrew it themselves. DDB just can't provide all the purchased content for free.
/e3 When I first started I homebrewed the spider staff and staff of defense right out of the starter set, but I've long since purchased all the official DDB content so I've deleted them as I no longer needed the homebrew version.
First off, thank you for your purchase! It is possible that your browser has your content cached, which can be fixed fairly easily, by clearing your browser's cache.
If this is not something that you are familiar with, you can find useful guides here on how to do this for most current browsers.
If, after clearing your browser cache, you are still unable to access content that you have purchased, please contact the support team, who will be able to assist you further.
At the time, I refreshed, closed and reopened my browser, tried it in a different browser altogether, and nothing worked.
I tried clearing my cache just now, but to no avail.
I can see the stats when I look it up in the official magic items, and going to the Marketplace shows me the specific item as purchased (it shows "View Details" as my button instead of the "Buy for $1.99" button).
Womp womp womp. But I'll going to open a ticket with the support team, so it's good to know that homebrewing the item is a legit option in the interim.
I am also having the same exact problem with the same exact item. HALP! I tried all the things in this thread too. Here is my character sheet: https://ddb.ac/characters/6824523/JCM2rb

The moderators can't actually check from the sharable link you provided. You need to copy the URL in your browser and paste it in. It should have /profile/naraelista in it. Don't worry, non-moderators get sent to an access denied page when clicking that link.

Someone a couple days ago had the same problem, with another item.

Thanks for the replies, y'all!
If you provide a link to your character sheet here, I can take a look.

Thanks for that bit of information. I think this is the link you were referring to? https://www.dndbeyond.com/profile/Naraelista/characters/6824523

You both should contact the support team like stormknight originally suggested. https://dndbeyond.zendesk.com/hc/en-us
You should also load dndbeyond up on a separate browser to see if it is a cache problem. If you use chrome load it on firefox and vice versa.
I cleared the Cache and restarted the computer. Still not there. I contacted support who is still on "thanksgiving vacation" per email I got.
