it must have something to do with the different filter mechanisms for the Monster search versus the Encounter Builder. Very odd that it works one place but not the other.
Anyone else having issues creating new homebrew monsters since the implementation of the New monster manual? keep getting an internal server error when I try to create something new.
In that case I'd like to bump this issue - it's a DDB *app* specific issue. Given the app part, is this still the right place for it? If so... here it is. ;-) If not, I'll mosey over to the App thread.
Either is fine in that case, but this one has already been passed on to the team for review. No need to send it again over there. In fact, I believe most (but not yet all) of those have already been fixed.
Hi there! Thanks for tracking this. I'm looking in my app and don't see that a lot of these have been fixed. For example Faerie Dragon nor Green Hag show up in the native DDB app's ToC in the upper right bullets. And I have checked that my app is up to date. No worries if this is ongoing, but I saw the note indicating most of these were addressed and it doesn't appear that way quite yet. Thanks!
I just noticed that there appears to be an update to the errata that are listed in the first pinned post in this forum (and thus in the MM doc as well).
Carrion Crawler (p. 66). In the Paralyzing Tentacles action, "Dexterity Saving Throw" is now "Constitution Saving Throw".
I don't know if there are more that were just changed and added to the list? A couple others that relate to the size of the creature or what it interacts with may be new...?
[EDIT: went to a 3rd party who had posted a static version of the original list, these are not new, only the spoilered errata above is new as of today.]
Is there going to be more public notice of new errata being added? Because it might be easy to miss that change (and it's a sorta now infamous issue that people were discussing as needing a fix).

Previously everything under Monsters A and the first monster for every letter were hidden. Again, most of those have been fixed. AFAIK, these are the remaining ones:
I finally got the tokens working on Maps, but now I'm being overwhelmed by the volume of stuff to search through. Is there a plan to implement a filter so I can turn off legacy monsters in Maps?

Previously everything under Monsters A and the first monster for every letter were hidden. Again, most of those have been fixed. AFAIK, these are the remaining ones:
Faerie Dragons (currently on the Monsters F page)
Ghosts (on Ghasts)
Green Hag (Green Dragon)
Homunculus (Hobgoblins)
Jackalwere (Monsters J)
Spies (Sphinx)
Some more:
Arcanaloth is still on the Ankheg page, Centaurs are under Carrion Crawler, Deva is under Demilich, Flameskull is under Fire Giant, Gray Ooze under Goristro, Guard under Guardian Naga, Phase Spider under Peryton, Scarecrow under Satyr.
Not sure if I post it here or to a thread about the D&D Beyond app, but the native “Contents” button (the three bullets) in the upper right of the book page has a number of missing entries.
Thank you! Everything seems fixed except two kinds of things: art didn't move to the right creature page; and a weird split of some creatures' page:
Art That Didn't Move:
Arcanaloth art at the bottom of Ankheg
Behir art at the bottom of Bearded Devil
Deva art at the bottom of Demilich
Green Hag art at the bottom of Green Dragon
Homonculus art at the bottom of Hobgoblins
Jackalwere art on the "Monsters (I)" page
Weird Split: Some creature pages toward the end are now split oddly, and when they are their stat block formatting also gets funky,
The White Dragon page is now spread across 5 pages - one intro page, and then one page for each of the ages, rather than in one single page (and the breaks are not in the right places anyway.
Wight has its stat block split from its profile.
Will o' Wisp same.
Xorn same.
Zombie has the same, and like the White Dragon its sub-monsters are oddly split across pages.
The 2024 Green Naga stat block when viewed within the initiative tracker in MAPS has hyper links to various spells. All of these spells link to the 2014 version of those spells. They should link to the 2024 version in the 2024 Free Rules (or 2024 PHB) instead.
Hello! I noticed that the stat blocks for the Animal Lord, new version of the Kraken, New version of the Tarrasque, the Colossus, and Blob of Annihilation don't seem to have the correct Initiative bonus for the Encounter Builder. I assume this isn't intentional, and I can provide evidence taken from the Encounter Builder itself below.

The image caption has been reversed, to better identify the monsters pictured. (The Kuo-toa Whip is not the one with the whip.)

Master Tier, with shared content from other players who own the MM2024. However I cannot employ 2024 Tokens (i could briefly 2 weeks ago).
You’ll need to own the book yourself to use it in Maps (for all books). Any monsters you were using before were likely in the Free Rules.

Oh well... is that a new policy? MM2014 was shared via the same mechanism AFAIK?
That’s how Maps has always worked. Anything you’ve used there from the 2014 MM must also be included in the free Basic Rules.

These should all be fixed if you download the latest MM update!

That explains why Avrae does the same thing with legendary blocks.
The Camel on the website shows "Languages --"
Both the physical book and the app have "Languages None"
The same occurs for several other 'animals'
