I am unable to add prepared spells for a level 4 Halfling Wizard Illusionist. I had previously prepared spells, and when I removed them it took them off the list on the character sheet but won't add any to the character sheet now. The only spells that show up are cantrips and spells linked to the subclass. I have refreshed, quit and reopened browser, restarted computer, and recreated the character and the problem still exists. As far as I can tell, at level 4 the character should have 7 prepare-able spells and 4 cantrips (plus any spells connected to the subclass). What am I missing?

What exactly do you mean when you say "unable to add"? The spells don't show up in your list of known spells at all? Or, they show up, but the Prepare button doesn't work?
It would be helpful if you could post a link to the character itself, after setting the privacy setting to Public so we can look at it.
Great clarifying questions. When I click the manage spells button on my character sheet, the only spells that show up on my prepared spells list are the cantrips. If I click on the “add spells” drop down tab, all the level-appropriate spells show up with the button ready to be pressed to prepare. When I click on the “prepare” button it turns solid red to indicate it is prepared, but the spell doesn’t show up on the list of prepared spells (when I collapse the “add spells” menu) or on the character sheet under the spells section. I just tried again and it will add spells that can be cast as a ritual, but not any others. This has happened on both character sheets I created with all the same stats…and I just checked my other wizard character sheets and it is happening on all of them, but not on Druids, Warlocks, or Clerics (the other spellcaster classes I have sheets for)
I think I set up the page to be public and here is the link to the character sheet:

Well I feel dumb! It has been so long since I created the characters and modified them on DnD Beyond that I forgot about that extra step (compared to Druids, Warlocks, etc). Thank you for posting that video! Problem solved!
Don't feel dumb, this is what this forum is for! The sheet and tools are not the easiest to use or figure out, but it is easy to forget things, miss steps and get confused. I'm glad the video was able to help!

Let me know what is different when you try to prepare spells. Screenshots will help. (Video for how to add screenshots: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oCNDcMgX0cs )

Hey Cyb3rM1nd,
