That's true, that won't stop you from using it on your own character(s). It will only stop you from publishing it for others to use.
Do you see anything in the "Homebrew" section at the bottom of the Species tab?
Urgh..... apparently i picked the wrong dragonblood sorcerer during creation and now its unable to be used with legacy classes time to copy everything over to legacy

Ah, yes, a subclass can only be associated with one version of the class or the other, not both. Sorry, you said you'd made a homebrew race so I wasn't thinking about that.
