I'm attempting to make a homebrew subclass for fighter that has selectable options like the Battlemaster, however within the character builder the options are not selectable no matter what I do. I've even made a copy of the Blood Hunter Order of the Mutant, to see how the options were executed inside of the homebrew creation interface, but when I attempted to use that the options also would not appear with no changes made to the copy. Is there anything that I might be doing wrong or is this a bug that needs to be fixed?
I have been having this problem for most of the day. I thought I was doing something wrong creating a monk subclass that had options to select using the Way of the Four Elements as a template.
My character is level 1. Here's what I'm trying to do:
"Acolyte of Strength. At 1st level, you learn one druid cantrip of your choice. You also gain proficiency in one of the following skills of your choice: Animal Handling, Athletics, Nature, or Survival."
My apologies. I completely failed my reading comprehension check on this whole thread. For some reason I thought the issue was choosing the subclass in the builder. (Maybe I was conflating two threads?).
Are you working on a tablet or a computer? I think I've seen this reported before. Not remembering the solution at the moment.
I'm having a similar issue with sorcerers. I have a subclass I'm trying to implement with class feature options, but they won't appear for some reason. It works for the default Draconic Bloodline with choosing a dragon color, but when I try to use a copy of it and don't change anything else those options stop appearing.
There seems to be some confusion in this thread with what the exact problem is. I was able to replicate the issue that BloodDrake64 described which is picking the subclass options.
To replicate the issue I created a homebrew copy of the Battlemaster.
Create a level 3 fighter, select Battlemaster as subclass
Go to maneuvers, you can select the maneuvers without issue
The mixup was my fault, not due to lack of clarity on your part. But the steps Saskcurt provided are helpful. With more thought, I realized I ran into a similar problem with subraces a while back. In that case, it was definitely a bug. Maybe that's what is happening here, too?

I'm having this same exact problem with Draconic Bloodline sorcerer. I made a copy of it, went to go use it with no modifications made, and the dropdown menu gave zero options. This is frustrating since I'm about to start a campaign with custom dragon color to element associations, so all I need to do is remove several of the options from the dropdown list (and change the table in the description, but that works fine).

I am having the same problem. Unable to select options in the dropdown.
Months ago I was able to create a monk subclass with options like the Battlemaster, yet now I created another class with options but these won't show up, even though they're using the same options as the monk subclass.
I just had this problem and looking it up on google took me here. I'm trying to make a homebrew subclass with battlemaster as a template but the options aren't showing in the character builder. It was working last week when I first started making it, so I'm thinking it's a new bug?

Good to know I'm not the only one then. Hopefully we can hear what's going on.
-in the character creator, did you turn on homebrew on the "home" tab?
-is the character in question at least 3rd level?

This may be your problem; Fighters don't choose subclasses until level 3.

Hmmm. Actually my issue may be a different one. I'm trying to have a Cleric choose a proficiency at level 1.

Yes! That is exactly the problem. It was late when I posted the thread so thank you for clarifying the issue for everyone.

I am having the same problem. Unable to select options in the dropdown.
I make stuff on DMs Guild, DriveThruRPG, & Storytellers Vault. I stream things on Twitch.

I am likewise having this issue; the dropdown options are blank for a subclass feature when selecting them at character creation.
Same bug for me. Trying to create the Arcane Shot option. Builder ask me to choose option, but the list is empty.
