Can anyone tell me why I log on to DDB and it wants me to subscribe? I'm signed in. I use DDB every day. What's the deal? I've had a subscription since 2017 (minus a brief departure). But every so often it thinks I'm not subscribed. I click around on my account and such and it eventually goes away, but if I don't go to my account and profile and such, I can't see some stuff because it thinks I'm not subscribed.
I thought I couldn't see books I have purchased, but I think I can. I haven't tested it to see if I can see all of my characters (I have 66). So I can probably see everything, but I assume I can't share my content in my campaigns. I don't have an active campaign right now, so I'm not sure about that either.
Regardless, D&D Beyond shouldn't be asking me to subscribe when I've been subscribed forever.
It shows up on the home screen as a blue button that says subscribe. And if you click on the user menu in the top right where my profile picture is, it doesn't show the Subscription menu option and has a blue subscribe button at the bottom of the menu. It also shows on any pages like rules pages, at the top of the page as a blue subscribe button.
The licenses page shows my subscription correctly. That's usually what I have to go to in order to "fix" it. Typically, once I go to my account and click on licenses, the subscribe buttons go away. It's weird.
I've always subscribed to D&D Beyond, so I don't even know what my "subscriber benefits" are, aside from unlimited characters, and sharing my books as a DM through my campaigns. So I have no idea if I've been restricted from those benefits or not. Either way, the site shouldn't be asking me to subscribe.
It does do it on Firefox as well. I don't see a blue subscribe button on my phone, but on the user menu on the right side of the screen it does have a subscribe option in the menu. The following screen shots are from Firefox, but it is doing it currently on Chrome as well.
Strange. I'm honestly not sure what would cause that. Might be worth contacting customer support, though. Hopefully they can take a closer look at your account and figure it out. http://dndbeyond.link/SubmitTicket
OK. I appreciate you taking the time to help me out. In the long run it doesn't seem to really affect anything. Just annoying. I will submit a ticket. Thanks!

Can someone please fix this?
Can you be more specific? Which subscriber benefit are you unable to access when this happens? What stuff are you not able to see?

So there’s no case where you’ve tried to use a subscriber benefit and been unable to?
Where exactly is it asking you to subscribe?
Is the current status of your subscription accurately reflected here?

Here! It did it just now!
But it went away when I clicked on other links, so I still don't know if I am unable to access stuff.
Do you get the same issue in another browser, or on another device?

I haven't tried. I will try it, but it's so random, I'm not sure if it will just happen.
