When creating a character or leveling up and the new level allows for ability score improvement or feat the feat list allows for the selection of feats that are specific to races and not the current race of my character.
For example: a half orc can select dragon hide, drow high magic, dwarven fortitude, etc.
Am I missing something cause I feel like I am?
I seem to recall before changes in the past week that these were not options available to characters of races that arent the race of your character.
are you selecting these feats through the character builder (via Edit Character from the character sheet) or are you using the manage feats function of the character sheet?
If it's the latter - this function allows you to add feats to a character outside of normal progression and with restrictions removed.
Since there hasnt been a response I think I might have been vague with my answer.
I get these options when in character building building my character on the beyond website.
Character Builder then class then ability score improvement then feat then choose feat.
Like i said in op am i getting this wrong or should my half-orc barbarian or halfling rogue be able to have dragon hide, drow high magic, dwarven fortitude, etc?
We've looked into it and it seems that some changes that were made for WGtE caused this to happen - there are some changes being made for prerequisites that will resolve the situation. :)
