I have the Players Handbook purchased, yet I still don't have access to PHB content. For example I want my warlock patron to be fey, but only fiend patron is available. I know that fey is an option because I have the physical and digital copy. Any help?
On the Class tab, did you select Warlock (the 2024 one, under Core Rules at the top), or did you scroll down and select Warlock (the 2014 one, under 2014 Core Rules)? You'll need 2014 Core Rules enabled in order to select the latter. Subclasses from the 2014 PHB won't work on the 2024 Warlock and vice versa.
Lol. Yeah, I purchased the 2014. I didn't realize that there was a whole section for "core" being separate from the PHB. Honestly, they should probably update that. Why would we need a core section if we bought the PHB?
Core Rules IS the PHB (and the DMG and the MM), but it’s the 2024 versions of those books. Since those are officially considered to be the current rules, they’re presented first.
Hence if you want to use the older rules, you need to specify by selecting from 2014 Core Rules instead.
