Pretty much what it says - I have some old levels where I have feats from the 2014 core rules, I have 2014 core rules enabled, but the list of available feats when leveling up is extremely restricted.
I didn't buy the 2014 PHB on DnD Beyond, as I have physical books that I use at my table. I've been using D&D Beyond just for one of my characters, as that group plays online via VTT.
I'm in campaigns where a lot of content, including all the core *was* shared with me, although I think those subscriptions have lapsed - (The main reason for this is that the players who owned that content feel that the site is much less user-friendly than it used to be. D&D beyond has gotten increasingly clunky to use since the 2024 edition dropped. The content we want (2014 content) is often hard to find or absent from searches these days, and there's no way to remove 2024 alternatives from sheets, making them bloated and awkward to use.)
I thought there was a free-to-use set of core content. Is SRD content not available on D&D Beyond? I can access SRD content on competing platforms that handle character sheets... If D&DB doesn't provide access to SRD content then I should just migrate.
I'm not looking for a specific feat, I was hoping to look at the dropdown and select something - However the feats actually available to me are a small random mix of a subset of the 2024 core feats, specifically:
The 2014 SRD is available on D&D Beyond via the Basic Rules, but the 2014 SRD also contained only one feat: Grappler. That feat also has a prerequisite of STR 13+. If you don't qualify for that feat and don't have the 2014 PHB, that section would indeed be empty and therefore hidden.
If you have the physical book, though, you could use the site's homebrew tools to add those feats for personal use (in which case you'd need Homebrew enabled for your character, and they'd then appear under Homebrew instead of 2014 Core Rules).
And if you hadn't heard, there's now a "Core Rules" toggle in your character settings that can be used to hide any 2024 character options.

Which specific feat are you trying to add?
Did you purchase the 2014 PHB yourself? If so, is it listed here under Current Product Licenses?
https://www.dndbeyond.com/account/licenses
If you didn't purchase it, is this character assigned to a campaign where that book is shared with you?
When selecting your feat, did you scroll down to the "2014 Core Rules" section?
Does your character meet any prerequisites for the feat?

Ability Score Improvement
Alert
Elemental Adept
Grappler
Magic Initiate (Cleric, Druid, Wizard)
Savage Attacker
Skilled
Firearm Specialist (Critical Role)
Those are the ONLY feats I see. There is not a "2014 core rules" section.
