Created a homebrew item (Ira's Tiny Hat - Magic Items - Homebrew - D&D Beyond for reference) and it's saying I can't share the item with the community due to the description containing external links, but the only links are D&D Beyond links to spell descriptions from the core rules. Why is your own website considered 'external'?
Playing since 2e, DMing and playing 2e, 3.5e, and 5e, among others when possible. Contact me for currently running game info or open slots for me to DM your group.

What if a link is needed for access to a rare-but-also-required resource? (EG: A D3, D5, or D7 roller). Do tooltips have dice rolling functionality?

ModeratorIf you want to publish it for the global community, you won’t be able to include any direct links (only tooltips, as describer above).
If you just want to use it privately in your own campaigns, there’s no need to publish. You can safely ignore those errors and use any links you want.
