True Strike 2024 is adding the caster's mod to the damage from the cantrip. When Clicking on the True Strike button inside the weapons pop-out box, it is still adding the STR/DEX mod to the damage when the True Strike button is clicked.
D&D Beyond doesn't have built-in support for True Strike. If you're seeing a button like that, it's from some third-party extension you have installed — perhaps Beyond20. You'd need to talk to the people who made the extension for help with it.

I don't use any extensions and True Strike has a damage button on the Spells page of my characters, also showing the ability damage add.
You can create a custom action to list the correct damage, or customize the spell to have a negative modifier matching the ability score bonus damage.
The button is Beyond20, thank you.
