Hi, found an issue on my pc. If I turned off 3d dice feature, I can't use manual/ rolled feature when I creating a character. Rolling js script lasted forever or until I press f5. If I turn on 3d dice, it is working as intended.
Minor nitpick, the dice pile up in the corner and often stack so you can't see them all when rolling 3+ dice. Maybe the animation could be tweaked so the "throw" doesn't begin in the middle in the map aimed at the corner. It would be more aesthetic to land in the center of the board and scatter.
I have an ACER ASPIRE 5 with 36 gigabytes of ram and Windows 11 - and the dice update makes dndbeyond unplayable. They dice don't roll, or lag horribly, or do not clear at all, obscuring the screen and making it literally impossible to play. I saw ZERO difference in the two times I've attempted it; you've ruined game night for me. AT LEAST GIVE ME THE ABILITY TO TURN THIS CRAP OFF.
Running a 3d dice role immediate caused significant lag, a crash back to the maps launch page and then a total crash of the FF apps. I did see the dice appear and roll though (very slowly).
this is an improvement. A few days ago the map would either not open at all or crash when opening (never even got as far as trying to roll a 3d dice).
so better. But not quite there.
Using on FF browser on an infinity game table (run android 9)
Related to previous comment, but using a different browser. This time used edge browser. Again on infinity game table running android 9.
Maps now opens ok and much smoother with 3d dice turned off.
However running a 3d dice role immediate caused significant lag, a crash back to the maps launch page and then a total crash of the edge app. I did see the dice appear and roll though (slowly) shortly before the crash.
again, this is an improvement. A few days ago the map would either not open at all or crash when opening (never even got as far as trying to roll a 3d dice).

I'm able to see most party die rolls, and my own, but there is lag when rolling 3D dice (across tabs/platforms). After refreshing, it fixes for a bit, then happens again. Turning off 3D dice seemed to really help. Discord voice chat seemed to still have some sound/funtion glitches, but that's been happening with both dndbeyond open and not, so I think that's their own issues.
Bug "SHADOW DICES APPEARANCE" on the new dices feature while using Samsung tablets
- Prior to new participative dices feature (patch) could see the dices rolling in full colors, now dices are in shadow form without textures. Last seen related bug of this view was in 2021 was fix months later.
already did on all my tablet's:
WebGL test → passes
GPU acceleration → forced on
HW overlays → disabled
MSAA → forced
Samsung Internet cache → cleared
WebView cache → cleared
Pop‑ups → allowed
Backward redirection → off
Anti‑tracking → off
Full browser restart
Full device restart
Shadow dice = textures failed to load.
The dice models load
The dice physics run
The dice canvas initializes
But the texture files (the colored dice skins) are blocked at the network layer
This is not fixable on my side.
It’s not my tablets. It’s not my settings. It’s not my GPU's. It’s not my WebGL's. It’s not my cache's.
It’s a blocking cross‑domain texture assets, thats D&D Beyond’s dice engine relies on. For D&D Beyond’s 3D dice engine:
Problems still persisted last night. All players disabled 3D dice, but any dice rolling at all in Maps caused Maps to crash. Even after I restarted my computer and ran Maps solo, the D&D Beyond game log was not displaying player dice rolls. The rolls have since showed up in my game log, about 12 hours too late.

Much better today.

Agreed. Much better today. Dice are rolling, rolls showing up everywhere. Looking good.
Thanks for your work on this.
The crashes are fewer but still happen. But definitely an improvement.

Thank you team for the effort to fix everything!

Uses Three.js
Loads textures from a different domain
Uses redirects
Uses cross‑origin image requests
T.O.W.
Thats all i can. If you have a fix let me know.
