So I have recently been wondering about two-weapon fighting bonus action. I've created to different classes in the character builder and both times it puts this feat into the bonus actions part of the sheet. My DM questioned if i was proficient in dual wielding but I said no and he said that I couldn't do this as it wouldn't work. But on creating another character it has thrown it in there? Is this a bug or can everyone actually do this like unarmed strike.

It is not a feat. it is something every character can do. With a bonus action, you can attack if you are wielding two light weapons.
