My 5.5e level 1 artificer / level 4 sorcerer has the 2nd level spells Invisibility and Spider Climb. I have 3rd level spell slots (due to multiclassing), thus D&D Beyond provides a list of what I can upcast using 3rd level spell slots. Both Invisibility and Spider Climb include the following text: "Using a Higher-Level Spell Slot. You can target one additional creature for each spell slot level above 2." However, only Invisibility (and not Spider Climb) appears in the list of 3rd level spell casting options.

Am I missing something or is this a bug???
Are you sure you're using the 5.5e version of Spider Climb? It sounds like maybe you selected the 5e version, which did not have upcasting benefits.
I'm pretty sure I'm using the 5.5e version of Spider Climb. This is what I see when I click on the spell:
Spider Climb
2nd Level Transmutation
Casting Time: 1 action
Range/Area: Touch
Components: V, S, M (a drop of bitumen and a spider)
Duration: Concentration, up to 1 hour
Source: Player’s Handbook, pg. 318
Until the spell ends, one willing creature you touch gains the ability to move up, down, and across vertical surfaces and along ceilings, while leaving its hands free. The target also gains a Climb Speed equal to its Speed.
Using a Higher-Level Spell Slot. You can target one additional creature for each spell slot level above 2.
Yeah, I'm seeing that too. It looks like the 5.5e version is missing whatever internal flag causes spells with upcasting benefits to show up in the list for higher-level spell slots. Definitely seems like a bug.
