I'm playing a rogue assassin and have a question about how vex and multiple instances of advantage work. The assassinate trait gives the following effect
PHB-2024, pg. 134 - During the first round of each combat, you have Advantage on attacks (plural) against any creature that hasn’t taken a turn.If your Sneak Attack hits any target during that round, the target takes an additional 4 damage of the weapon’s type.
Vex. If you hit a creature and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
If I was to use my main hand weapon to apply vex and then use my bonus action to use my offhand weapon to make an extra attack would the advantage from vex not trigger as I would already have advantage from assassinate and advantages cant stack. Would this mean I could use the vex advantage at the start of my next turn?

Unfortunately, no. The advantage you get from Vex applies to "your next attack against that creature", regardless of whether that attack already has advantage or not. The rules don't allow you to "bank" advantage for a subsequent attack when you have it from more than one source at the same time.
