My friend's account got locked and support was asking for his ID number. The one found after your username in the account settings. I just looked and can't even find my own. Apparently the new interface removed a required feature that support needs to access people's accounts!
They were just asking for the numbers that appear after your username. Something I recalled being a thing when submitting a support ticket in the past. So, upon closer inspection in every menu that has my username I noticed the numbers don't appear after the username anywhere. If you've been around DnDBeyond a long time you may recall noticing some numbers after your username in the user settings. It's a backend method many sites use to identify an account regardless of the public facing name, in case of name change.
