If you check this page, are your Account Entitlements in sync? Does it show an active Master Tier subscription? Is that book listed under Current Product Licenses? https://www.dndbeyond.com/account/licenses

I have a Master Tier Subscription and my licences are uptodate and have exactly the same problem can't get past the contents page, though the Marketplace does say I own this digital product so there's that.
Exact same issue here. Master tier. Everything in sync, clicking chapters lead me to a store page that says I own the product. The book is also not listed as "purchased" in my library. I also bought the book through redeeming a key.
I have the exact same issue in the UK. Master Tier subscription, Ravenloft: The Horrors Within shows correctly among my Current Product Licences and the Marketplace registers that I own the digital copy but I still can't access it.

4pm on the 3rd and just checked. No change.
I am seriously wondering if D&D actually beta test their release systems to check if it works before putting it out live.
My YouTube algorithm is currently alive with review copies of the blessed book - which must be nice to actually be able to read it.
Approaching 24 hours later and no change. Its perplexing.
Also having the same issue, it seems to be an issue with having it as a redeemed code rather than purchased.
Funny since i never redeemed a code, i bought the book alongside a physical copy which means i had to buy it through the partner site dndstore.wizards.com since i don't live in the US. The partner site only works with Wizards accounts while dndbeyond is my google account. These a accounts are linked which seems to have resulted in the license counting as a redeemed code instead.
For those who are confused. In the EU we can buy the digital copies on the US store which dndbeyond defaults to but for physical orders outside of the US all purchases go through the WOTC website instead of dndbeyond.
I can note that my licenses are synced and cookies cleared.
It seems we can draw the conclusion that they don't have early access activated for redeemed codes on dnd beyond. Which includes anyone who has purchased the physical copy alongside the digital copy in the EU.
But that doesn't match my past experience of getting early access on the 2024 Dungeon Master's guide that I bought the same way. Did something change recently?
Popping in to say what you've all figured out, but am giving an official voice to: we are indeed seeing an influx of folks who are unable to access their Ravenloft: The Horrors Within content despite pre-ordering. What we have determined is that this is primarily affecting customers who pre-ordered through the UK/EU store who received the wrong license (global release vs. pre-order).
The team is actively working on making sure these customers get the appropriate license, and we appreciate your patience as we work through this.
For non-UK/EU players who are still having difficulty accessing your pre-orders, please make sure you've done the following:
Make sure your Master Tier subscription is active! On that same page, you will see whether or not your subscription is active and at what tier. If you're Master Tier, great!
If all else fails, take the IT approach. Have you tried logging out and in again? Clearing cache and cookies? Have you taken the time to get a cookie for yourself? You deserve a snack. But also, please submit a Support Ticket. That helps us figure out what's going on and track backend issues.
Thank you all for your reports and patience! We hope to have this resolved soon.

That is good news. Thanks. Weird how this issue didn't occur when Faerun and the 2024 books came out.
I wonder what changed?
I explained it a bit in my message above, but basically each product has different versions of the license given to people who buy it. for example, folks who pre-order get the version that includes all the pre-order bonuses + early access, while a standard license has none of the pre-order stuff and unlocks when the book globally releases. UK/EU folks were mistakenly given the global release license instead of the pre-order one.

I've preordered The Horrors Within early access (I'm from Spain) and I can't read the book because everytime I click on any chapter it sends me to this: https://marketplace.dndbeyond.com/BB-Ravenloft-WK15/6015000?pid=DB6015000
What's going on?
Thanks in advance.

ModeratorHero Tier gets early access next Tuesday, a week before release. You’d need Master Tier to access it today.

The licences page says I own it but it also say "product key"*
Which presumably is a permissions issue, since I've redeem the code from my purchase its just not apparently doing anything about it.

Yes, I did the same as you Oscardyl and bought the physical + digital version at the EU Wizards store, so that might be at the root of the problem.

I received confirmation on the DnD discord that the devs are working on a fix.
