World of Warcraft Digital Not Applying Legendary Bundle Discount and In-Game Items Question:

Also for the in-game items code... it says "code for World of Warcraft® in-game items delivered via email with purchase ofthe physical and digital bundle*"... does this mean that the in-game item code is NOT included with the digital only purchase?  You HAVE to get the physical+digital bundle?'

UPDATE: It looks like the mention of the in-game item code was removed from the digital only and physical only page however it is still not reflecting the Legendary Bundle discount for digital only.

I have not received my pre-order items, either. Says everything is synched, tried resetting cookies/cache, still nothing. Glitch on their end?

I have pre ordered the collector's edition and have not received anything for pre ordering it.  No emails for the WoW items or the stuff that I am supposed to get here.

Is it confirmed you need both digital and physical for the WoW in game bonus

i dont think the bonus codes for preordering come until release. The physical copies come with a code insert so i would imagine they will email you guys who went with digital on release day

While a code for in-game items may come later, you are supposed to get the other things - digital dice, sheet background character frames - as soon as you pre-order. I haven't gotten them yet and sent a help form to customer service. All they did was send me back a copy/pasted info blurb about how pre-orders work or some of the things you can try, which would be nice except that I had told them in the first message that I'd already done those things.

Clearly they did not read what I had said, or they are just told "hey, here's an automated response, always try this first." Which is super annoying... haven't heard back since I sent the follow-up. If it's anything like the last time I put in a help request, they'll just send me a follow-up message in a few days saying how glad they were to resolve my unresolved issue and to feel free to contact them for help.

But yeah, we should be able to access that stuff on our character sheets. Otherwise what is the purpose of pre-ordering a digital item that there is no danger of being sold out at release?

yea i meant more for those questioning the wow items. If i remember correctly last time i did this it took a few days before the stuff showed up. being the weekend and all that id give it till next week before i grew concerned. we have confirmation emails so we can get it fixed if it is a bug

I'm pretty sure the pre-order bonus items don't come until release - especially the WoW in-game item code since for physical+digital you get it via email but the Collector's Ultimate Bundle folks don't get it until they get the book since it's an physical insert with the code.

 Usually when you pre-order something on the DND Beyond marketplace you get any pre-order bonuses right away. That's how it's always worked in the past.

Yes, but I was talking about the in-game WoW items (as that is what most of the people above are fussing about) - those probably wouldn't be sent in advance because again Collectors Edition book folks have to wait until they get the physical book for their insert with the code and if they get emailed to those with physical+digital standard book that would feel bad... and also preorders can be cancelled.  Nothing would stop people from getting their emailed in-game code from the physical+digital standard book, redeeming it, and then cancelling their pre-order.  D&D Beyond would have to communicate any cancelled orders to Blizzard to have the items removed from your WoW account and that's too much work.

As for the character backgrounds and portrait frames and such... yah, those are usually done right away but 1) GenCon 2) Wizards is going on break right after (probably) because of GenCon fatigue.  Do you really need them right this second?  Will it really physically hurt you if the flag on your account for those items gets turned on after they come back from break or at release or whatever?  Yes, it's strange but honestly with this "surprise" (ha!) announcement and GenCon going on... they probably are waiting until after the break so it doesn't get screwed up.

Are you playing in a game right now where you REALLY need to show off your Horde pride this very moment?  LMAO - I kid I kid. :D
