I’m creating homebrew content for the Kindred class from Vampire: The Masquerade – Bound by Blood. A saved homebrew feat appears in the general feat selector but is missing from the class’s dedicated “Choose a Kindred feat” selector.
Steps to reproduce:
Create a homebrew copy of Alacrity, preserving its original prerequisites and Kindred tag.
Confirm the feat is saved and in My Collection.
Create a Kindred character with Homebrew and Vampire partnered content enabled, and feat prerequisites enabled.
At level 2 or higher, open the Kindred Feat selection.
The official Alacrity appears, but the homebrew copy does not—even after reloading.
At level 4, open Ability Score Improvement → Choose a Feat. Search for COPY_OF_Alacrity. The same homebrew feat appears there under Homebrew.
The copy displays a “too similar to Alacrity” public-sharing warning. However, it is saved, in my collection, and available in the general feat selector. I’m using it as a diagnostic example; public publication is not required.
Is this a bug or a current limitation? Does the dedicated Kindred selector require a feat classification beyond the Kindred tag and prerequisites? If so, how can homebrew creators configure that classification?
That’s not something the homebrew system currently supports. You could, however, just leave your feat choice unselected, and then manually add the feat to your character sheet instead.
