For example if u have a mule or horse and u buy a pack saddle u can’t equip it to the mount and it takes up wait in your own pack. Same as I tend to play a collector and I can’t put items onto my mounts and soon become over encumbered. Is there a way of doing this or do u just have to keep putting items down in there notes. Thank you . And sorry for the spelling mistakes
Coming across this issue as well.. ive resorted to applying a custom weight modifier to my horse as a negative value, which is the horses max carry capacity. This makes it so that i dont need to shuffle items in and out of my list. Either im over-encumbered, or not.
Downside to this approach is that i have to remember what is on the cart/horse, and what is actually on my character.
Really wish DNDB had better inventory system support :(
This still seems to be an issue as of 6/29/2020. Any chance this is going to get put on the Kanban wall?
Kanban?
Inventory management (which this falls under is on the long term list on Trello. At one point Adam said they were hoping to Target is for this year, but he hasn’t mentioned it recently, so I think it will be longer.
We just noticed this when we played. The saddle, bridle and saddle bags added to the weight carried rather than being on the actual horse. The group did have a laugh about the characters carrying the horse gear, but it is odd that it counts towards the weight carried.
They never give ETAs, so there is no way to accurately answer your question. If you look at this Trello board, you will see inventory management listed under “next quarter” But i understand that to mean that’s when they plan to start developing/coding it, not necessarily when it will be finished.

When will this feature be available?
