I see adding the Potent Casting (for a +5, due to WIS 20), then added another +6 from Empowered Evocation (due to INT 22). My character cast Chill Touch at 20th level doing 4d6+11, a little too much.
Or, because this cantrip comes from Arcane Initiate archetype choice, the system confuses it with a wizard spell. But is cast by the cleric's cantrips list, so it is a cleric one.
unfortunately there isn't a mechanic built in to D&D Beyond (yet) for the Empowered Evocation feature. This is a similar mechanic to the one required to make the Life Cleric Disciple of Life feature function.
I know that it is in the development stack though!
Currently, there is no modifier in Empowered Evocation, so Empowered Evocation does nothing on the sheet, mechanically speaking.
Please, refresh the sheet and let me know the bonus to cleric cantrips.
Done. Actually, the modifier from +11 is dropped due -1 (due to -6 customization I added to them)... if I'll remove that all must be correct (for the cleric cantrips)
TY for the fix on the fly. So, the additional +6 where was coming from?
Empowered Evocation. You can add your INT modifier (+value) to one damage roll of any wizard evocation spell you cast.
Currently, this feature adds INT bonus to cleric's spells instead than to wizard's spells.
Tested with a Wizard 11/Cleric 9 character. Currently must be customized to work.
Please fix.

Can confirm that empowered evocation does not automatically add damage to wizard evocations, but I don't see it adding to cleric spells either.
Are you sure the cleric spell damage isnt being boosted by a domain's potent spellcasting feature?

Now that Disciple of Life has been fixed, can we expect a fix on this in the near future as well?
Probably, pretty sure they plan to get a lot of things like this fixed as part of a unified "rules exceptions" update.
I think it will also cover things like illusionist's minor illusion, divine soul's extra cleric spell, and aberrant mind's psionic spells.
