I created a monkey familiar (more or less a reskinned cat) for my [class]Swashbuckler[/class] with Find Familiar. I have it in my HB list of course. But when I go to the 'monster' tab in my character sheet, 'monkey' doesn't appear in the list of options. How do I get it into that list?
Thanks for checking! It certainly seemed like it should be possible. When I go to the 'manage creatures' tab on my character and search for 'monkey' nothing shows up.

yes, you absolutely can use your own homebrew monsters on your character sheet!
If your homebrew creation isn't showing on your character sheet, it's possible there is a problem with the homebrew?
Please link both your homebrew monster and your character here and I'll take a look for you.

You have "Homebrew Content" disabled - toggle it to on and you'll be able to select your monkey familiar. :)
