Hey guys. Currently when a warlock has the eldritch Invocation: Lifedrinker, once you checkmark a weapon as your hexblade, the bonus necrotic damage doesn't come up.
This wouldn't be too bad, but when editing a weapon in a character sheet bonus damage can be applied, but the damage type can't be set.
If this isn't yet planned for implementation, can this be put in as a feature request?
It might have something to do with the fact that Hex Warrior makes you use your Charisma for the attack and damage rolls, and probably the system does not allow multiple bonuses from the same source (in this case CHA mod) to be applied, even if they are from different sources and of different "nature"...
Good catch, hope it gets fixed soon!

Lifedrinker doesn't seem to be working regardless of patron.
It probably has to do with the fact that the added damage is of a different type and/or that it is variable.
You will just have to add bonus damage to pact weapon yourself. You can change weapon name, or add a note, or manually change weapon damage (and remember that some of it is necrotic) yourself.
That's exactly what I'm doing for the time being. I'm just reporting my finding so that it can be fixed on the back end. Can't be fixed if they don't know about it right.
Just discovered this today as my Warlock just hit level 12. Easy enough to use the Damage Bonus Override but would be nice to see if there's a way to pull this off.

Bumping this - any chance this can be fixed staff/admins??
I just made a warlock today and it looks like it’s still not adding it.

Cheers!
Echoing that this bug is still present.
It will probably require a character sheet update to be able to display it properly.
Once more, with feeling. Can a moderator or staff member please weigh in on this long-standing missing feature?
Does "we'll fix it later," mean more from a mod?
I've tagged this thread with 'Request' for staff review.
Thank you for the feedback!

Thank you, Sedge!
Bump from a level 18 warlock who just found this out.
Still not working for me. 😞
Same, I’ve just manually added it to my weapon.
Happy 2021 everyone. First off, if you're reading this in 2020: it. gets. better.
But for this specific thing it doesn't get better. No lifedrinker bonus!
Still not working unfortunately
Still not working. My warlock player is very frustrated, as am I.
How is this not fixed?
A frustrated warlock? I'd be watchful of that. They aren't a stable bunch to begin with.
