Under the listing for magic armor is read that the max Dex bonus is +2 for Light armor. Its correct on the base equipment table.
Example:
Padded, Light, 11+Dex Mod(Max2) +1
Does magic padded, leather and studded leather limit the Dex mod to max +2?

Good catch - looks like a mistake to me.
As per the rules, it's MEDIUM armour that's subject to a max of +2 AC from dex.
Light armour shouldn't have this restriction.
